Beauty

Isaiah 61:3b

..give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

The Inheritance

Each Wednesday evening I am participating in a Women's Bible Study at our church, we are doing a Beth Moore DVD Study called "The Inheritance" and let me just say WOW!!! It is truly a blessing. Tonight we were talking about how we view the Lord in our heart of hearts.... it is a thought to ponder ....
It brings me Joy to know God is our Shield and our Great Reward.
Nothing is impossible for God.. and will not the Judge of all the Earth do right? We can truly rest in Him always ...let go and let our Father take the wheel of our life.
Wonderful Read for today : Romans 12 and Hebrews 11:17-19

Holly Hobby

This was such a sweet picture, just had to share :)

(II Timothy 1:7) For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.

Great Read

4-5Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you're on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!

6-7Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

8-9Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

Philippians 4:4-9
