Cast Iron Teapots

Cast Iron Teapots are lovely to make tea in, I am told if you make a flavored tea in a cast iron teapot it is best to always use the same pot for that flavor, each time you use the teapot it becomes more and more seasoned.

I found these cast iron teapots in a Japanese china shop, they were lovely but heavy as all get out. :)   I am looking to put one on my Christmas wish list.

These individual teapots and tea mugs come with the there own strainer so you can brew your tea (teabag or tealeaves) in the pot or mug then you just remove the strainer and enjoy your tea. My husband loves the color red so we picked up the red mug for him.

My sister Loves purple so I took this photo just for her :)

One of my favorite passages in the word is this one..

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

New International Version (NIV)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

  1. I love this style of tea pot! The colors are very nice, for some reason I gravitate to solid color pots. Have a great weekend!
